Helen studied Jewellery and Metal Design at Duncan of Jordanstone, graduating with BDes (Hons).

She currently works from her home studio in Pitlochry.

Helen specialises in the use of hot glass and supplementary materials created in an oxygen/propane mix flame with a technique known as 'lampworking'. She is especially inspired by illustration and application of colour using different hot working techniques.

All of the colourful earrings on display have been completely handmade from start to finish with every line drawn on with glass in the flame. They are then annealed in a digitally controlled kiln to make them durable and hard wearing.
