Proof of Identity
Identification may be required to obtain a membership. Proof of eligibility for juniors and Go Card users is required.
Junior applicant's parent or guardian must complete the Direct Debit mandate.
Falkirk Council reserves the right to reject, suspend or cancel any application/membership.
Lost/stolen membership cards can be reported at any leisure centre. This should be done as soon as possible. A charge will be made for a replacement card.
The membership card is not transferable. Attempted use of the membership card by a non-member will result in cancellation of that membership without any refund of fees already paid.
Falkirk Council reserves the right to exclude members if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate by staff or constitutes a risk without any refund of fees already paid.
Appropriate clothing and footwear should be worn during exercise. Staff discretion applies. Please see staff for guidance on track spikes.
Users must make themselves aware of fire exits in the area they are using. Staff instructions should be followed in any emergency.
Personal belongings should be stored in the lockers provided. Falkirk Council does not accept liability for any personal belongings left unattended.
Direct Debit
The monthly direct debit will be subject to change at the discretion of Falkirk Council. You will be given 10 working days’ notice of any price change. If your bank rejects your Direct Debit, we will notify you to allow you to bring your membership up to date. If your membership remains unpaid after the due date Falkirk Council will lapse your membership and you will have to pay another joining fee upon your return.
Membership Cancellation
You can cancel your membership at any time at the bank and it would be appreciated if you could inform us at the same time. Please note that although you are informing us it is your responsibility to cancel your direct debit at the bank. In addition, if you cancel and re-join again you will be subject to another joining fee.
Membership Freeze Option
You can freeze your membership up until the 15th of the month for the following month, by either completing paperwork in our venues or by emailing us at bookings@falkirk.gov.uk You can freeze for 1-6 months, a restart date is required. There is no cost to freeze a membership.
Membership Responsibility
The Primary Member is responsible for the membership. Data protection options for linked members are based on the selections made by the Primary Member. If you wish to see a copy of our GDPR privacy notice, please contact us directly. Falkirk Council undertakes to use personal information responsibly, in accordance with the law, keeping it accurate and up to date. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that any changes to the personal details provided are advised immediately.
Promotional Activities
Promotions will be run on an ongoing basis across all Falkirk Council’s facilities. All promotions will have a limited lifespan, limited availability and will be subject to specific terms and conditions. Members cannot benefit from more than one promotion at the same time.
Opening and Closing
Facilities may be subject to closure or reduced opening hours for maintenance, public holidays, seasonal holidays and special events. There will be no refund for any variations in access times or for the restriction to facilities. All members should call ahead to ensure the venue is open and available.
Falkirk Council reserves the right withdraw any of its products or amend Terms & Conditions at any time.
