Competitive Swimming Clubs
There are currently 3 competitive swimming clubs within the local area, which are all accredited to the Scottish Swimming standard (SwiMark). They train on various nights within the public and school pools. For more information regarding the local clubs please visit the club's websites or contact Sports Development.
Bo'ness ASC are a friendly club offering opportunities for new swimmers to develop techniques in all strokes and improve fitness to go on and compete in local galas and for more experienced swimmers to come along for fun or to compete locally or nationally. Parents also have the opportunity to learn new skills poolside with time keeping or coaching or as part of the committee. Falkirk Otter ASC is a competitive swimming club run by a fantastic group of coaches and a committee formed from parent volunteers. It is based in Falkirk and provides coaching for young swimmers from the age of 6 upwards from Falkirk and the surrounding area.
Grangemouth ASC, in conjuction with Falkirk Council Leisure and Culture Services (Sports Development), established a synchronised Swimming Club in 2012. This is an exciting opportunity for swimmers over 8 to develop new skills within an enjoyable and fun environment. Contact us if you fancy coming along and giving it a try.
