Three Libraries. One app. All Free with your library membership.

From November 1st library members will be able to access audiobooks, magazines and eBooks from their mobile device, all in one handy app.

Currently users of Falkirk Libraries’ eBook service need to download a separate app to access titles. This new one stop shop lets you do it all in one place: Pick a magazine for a quick read on your lunch break, download an audiobook to listen in the car, or find an eBook for when you’re snuggled up in bed.

The app will bring in a range of new, quality ebook titles, covering fiction and non-fiction and books for both adults and children. It also gives access to audiobooks from authors like Ian Rankin, Jeffrey Deaver and JoJo Moyes, as well as popular magazines like Hello! Cosmopolitan, Total Film, TV Times and BBC Good Food. You’ll be able to access all library online services from our Library on Demand page here

How to access the RB Digital app
You need to be a library member. Find out about free library membership.
Visit the RB Digital website to create an account, entering your library card number.
Download the app or software for your device or PC

How the changes will affect current RB Digital users
Current users of the RB Digital app can already access audiobooks and magazines. From November 1st you will find the new eBook option in your app and may need to download an app update, but you will otherwise be unaffected by this change.

How the changes will affect users of the current eBook service
The new service will come into effect on Thursday 1st November, but you can create an RB Digital account now. Users of the current eBook service will be unable to access it from this date.

If you download eBooks to your PC you will still be able to do this using Adobe Digital Editions. The RB Digital website has more information about this.
Help is provided in the app and on the RB Digital site, but you can also get in touch at libraries@falkirkcommunitytrust.org.
