There’s a crime spree at Falkirk Library this autumn!
We are thrilled to welcome four of the UKs bestselling crime and thriller writers to our libraries this September and October. Tickets for all these events are available online and in person from Falkirk Library.
An afternoon with Ann Cleeves
Thursday 20th September 2018, 13.45pm
The hugely popular Ann Cleeves is responsible for the stories behind TV’s much-loved crime drama Vera, brought to life by Brenda Blethyn, and the Douglas Henshall-starring Shetland. Ann will be discussing Wildfire, the final book in the Shetland series.

Helen Fields in association with Waterstones
Wednesday 26th September 2018, 6.30pm
Former lawyer Helen Fields has won wide acclaim for her nail-biting, sharply written DI Callinch thrillers. She'll be telling us about Perfect Silence, the latest instalment in the Edinburgh-set series.Helen will be signing books and you'll be able to purchase copies on the evening.
Falkirk Storytelling Festival

Ambrose Parry is collaboration between the massively popular Christopher Brookmyre and Medical Historian Marisa Haetzman. We're thrilled to launch Falkirk Storytelling Festival's 2018 adult programme with this event celebrating the couple’s first historical mystery, The Way of All Flesh, set in Edinburgh, 1847.
Denzil Meyrick in association with Waterstones

Ex-copper Denzil Meyrick has channelled his experiences of Glasgow's criminal underworld into the gripping DCI Daley thriller series. He'll be in discussion with fellow author Douglas Skelton, talking about new book The Relentess Tide, which you'll be able to purchase and get signed on the day.
