Class Descriptions


Aquacise is a low impact water-based aerobics class, providing a highly effective cardiovascular and toning workout. 

Active Forth Class

This circuit style class is primarily designed for Active Forth clients and those who may benefit from lighter exercise.


Aerobiking is a cardiovascular exercise class based on stationary bikes which can be adapted to suit all levels of fitness. A brilliant class that involves speed cycling, hill climbs and combinations of high and low resistance. Excellent for increasing stamina and burning calories!

Active Forth Aquagym

This class is a gentle water-based aerobics class, providing a cardiovascular and toning workout. This class is designed primarily for those on our Active Forth Exercise Referral scheme, but all are welcome!


The sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises.


Incorporating Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates in a workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm using controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses.


This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.


Focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements, you'll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning in the original barbell workout.

Bums, Tums and Thighs (BTT)

This is exactly what it sounds like. For a flatter stomach and tighter bum and thighs this is the class for you!


This is a good way to tone up and keep fit. Circuit training provides an efficient means of improving cardiovascular condition and muscle tone all in one. Stations include skipping, boxing, free weights and core work.


Looking for a short, sharp workout that’ll inspire you to the next level of fitness, while strengthening and toning your body? This 30 minute session combines the best of personal training with the energy of a group fitness class.

Fitness Blast

Fitness Blast is a mixture of aerobic and toning workouts, helping to improve cardiovascular and muscle tone.


Kettlebell training that will work every single muscle in your body.  This class will ensure you tone up, improve your overall endurance and core stability.

Les Mills THE TRIP

THE TRIP is a fully immersive workout experience that combines a 40-minute multi-peak cycling workout with a journey through digitally-created worlds. With its cinema-scale screen and sound system, this IMMERSIVE FITNESS workout takes motivation and energy output to the next level, burning serious calories.

Les Mills Tone

Officially replacing Bodyvive 3.1, this class gives a complete strength, cardio & Core workout in 45 minutes. Tone is an all in one functional fitness with options for every fitness level.

Les Mills GRIT: Cardio

Maximise your calorie burn with this combination of high impact body weight exercise and watch as you get super fit, superfast. You will burn fat and boost fitness in no time!

Les Mills GRIT: Strength

Blasting all major muscle groups, you are pushed out of your comfort zone and left with lean and toned muscle. Your metabolism stays in overdrive for hours afterwards. It’s the guaranteed fat burn you want!

Les Mills GRIT: Athletic

Based on the principles of plyometrics, this fantastic workout uses the bench to build your power and leg strength. This will transform muscle fibre, producing the lean athletic shape, you are crying out for.

Les Mills Barre

A dance based 30 minute workout, combining cardio, core and strength.

Low Impact Exercise

This class is for active seniors or those new to exercise, providing a mix of low impact aerobics, toning, stretching and socialising.


A fun, athletic, cardiovascular cycling workout that guarantees to leave you on a high and wanting more.


A fun-loving, insanely addictive dance workout!


This class is high intensity interval training (HIIT) so it will give you rapid results with minimal joint impact. Your reward is you will be burning calories for hours!
