FAQ’s

What is Pedal to the Park?

• Pedal to the park is a way to discover to extensive path network that can take us all over the district and to Helix park for the main event Pedal in The Park.

How long will it take?

• Each led ride varies in duration and the group will always go to the slowest paced participant.  It may take anywhere from 30-60 minutes to reach helix park.

When is it?

• Pedal to the park and Pedal in the park takes place on Saturday 10^th June.  See main event info for start times of led rides.

Do I need to book?

• Yes, we have limited cycle leaders to assist with our rides so we need to ensure we do not go over capacity.

Who can attend?

• Anyone who has a working bike and any children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

What do I need to bring?

• Your bike must be in full working order, brakes etc.  Helmet must be worn at all times.  Take a packed lunch and water for when you get to Helix Park.  Food vendors will be on site however.

Parking

• Parking is available nearby all start locations.

How do I get back?

• Our cycle leaders will show you a safe and enjoyable route to the park so you can enjoy Pedal in the Park.  When you are ready to leave you can return at your own pace via the path network to your own destination.

Photography and filming

• We will have a designated photographer taking pictures of our event.  If you do not wish to be photographed please let them know.  Photos and film will be used for social media and website as well as all future promotions.
