What's on at your local library

Reading, learning, technology, history - whatever you're into, you'll find something of interest at your local library.

Bookbug song and rhyme sessions for families with babies and toddlers happen weekly in libraries, and for primary children there's stories, crafts, LEGO and more. You'll find special events during all school holidays.

Libraries have crafting, reading and writing groups for adults and young adults throughout the year. Many of our reading groups are full, but do get in touch directly with your local library to register interest.

Learn at your library

There's new opportunities to learn in libraries this year.

Learn My Way sessions: If you know someone who is feeling left behind in this digital world we can help! We'll support you to access Learn My Way - a simple to use website that will teach the very basics of using a computer, and getting to grips with online entertainment, applying for jobs and managing money.

Family History Sessions: We'll support you to delve into your family's past, sharing tips, resources and showing you how to use Ancestry online.

Guitar and violin workshops for young people: Includes a 5 week block of guitar lessons every Monday in March.
