What is VACMA?
Visual artists and craft makers from across Scotland are welcome to apply for grants of up to £1,000 to support creative and professional growth. Made possible by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland, VACMA supports activities like mentoring, skill development, experimenting with new or sustainable materials, equipment purchases, and residencies—all contributing to creative development.
The program offers fixed bursaries of £500 and £1000. Artists and makers are encouraged to apply for the level that best suites their proposed activity.

Information sessions, featuring partner representatives and Creative Scotland’s Visual Arts team, will be held online via Microsoft Teams on:
