Please book your own accommodation for this trip.  Your instructor team will be staying overnight at Aviemore Youth Hostel.  There is a choice of other accommodation in the village if you prefer.

Ski Tourers - cost £120

The two days will look at getting around the hill safely on skis. Elements of safe travel and navigation on skis along with transceiver and rescue work will be looked at.  There will also be plenty of ski touring in between with a bit of ski coaching for those who are looking for it.  The weekend has no steep touring planned so is open to anyone with previous skiing experience. 

Winter Hill Walkers - cost £95

This trip will be focusing on covering the fundamental winter mountaineering skills over the two days.  We will have quick access to the snow in the Northern Cairngorms and may take in a summit if we get the chance.  If folk already have some winter walking skills we can look at preogressing to more advanced techniques.  The course is open to anyone with summer hill walking experience.
