Winter High Tops | Beinn Chaorach & Beinn a' Mhanaich

11.3km with 940 metres of ascent 

The days will involve a high top - either a Munro or one of our finer Corbetts - so you will need to have previous hill walking experience. If we need to refresh winter skills on the move we will, but if you require more extensive tuition please book on one of our winter skills courses.

Previous winter hill walking experience or completion of a recent winter skills course is essential We kick off our winter walking programme with a grand circuit of two of the Luss Hills Grahams - Beinn Chaorach & Beinn a' Mhanaich. By starting on the A817 and heading to the high ground around the Auchengaich Burn we avoid the long Luss approach and keep to drier ground. The views down to the Clyde lochs are very fine indeed.
