Christmas Adventure FAQs

We Love Christmas 2026

Christmas Adventure FAQs

Why is an Adult ticket the same price as a Child ticket?

Unlike a traditional Santa's Grotto, The Callendar House Christmas Adventure is a fully immersive theatrical experience featuring professional actors, themed sets, interactive storytelling and a visit with Santa. The ticket price is for the complete show experience, which is designed to be enjoyed by guests of all ages.

Will there be a present from Santa?

Yes. Every child attending will receive a small gift from Santa at the end of their adventure.

Is there parking for the event?

There are three public car parks within Callendar Park. We recommend using the car parks closest to Callendar House where possible, particularly if you are visiting with young children. Follow the signs for Callendar House from the main road and drive through the park to access the car parks.

Accessible parking spaces are available near the level access entrance. Please follow signage on arrival and note there is no parking directly in front of the house due to emergency vehicle access requirements.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The Christmas Adventure is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

A level access entrance is located to the left of the main front door and provides access to a lift serving all main areas used during the adventure. Our team will be on hand throughout the event to provide assistance if required.

If you have any additional access requirements, please get in touch before your visit and we will be happy to help.

When should I arrive for my timeslot?

Please check in at the Gift Shop at least 10 minutes before your booked timeslot.

You do not need to print your tickets. A booking confirmation on your phone is sufficient, or we can locate your booking using your confirmation details.

Please note that many sessions sell out in advance. If you miss your allocated timeslot, we may be unable to move your booking to a later session.

Is there a cloakroom?

There is no staffed cloakroom available.

Visitors are welcome to leave coats and other bulky items on the coat pegs located along the corridor near the public toilets. Please note that this area is open to the public and any items left there are left at your own risk. We recommend keeping valuables with you at all times.

Can we bring a pram or buggy on the adventure?

Unless essential, we ask that prams and buggies are left in the designated area at reception before entering the adventure.

If you feel you may need to take a pram with you during the experience, please speak to a member of staff on arrival and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

What are the Relaxed / ASN sessions?

Our Relaxed and ASN sessions are designed to provide a more comfortable experience for visitors who may benefit from a quieter environment.

These sessions have a reduced capacity of 16 visitors per performance, allowing for a more relaxed pace and greater flexibility throughout the experience. Our performers will adapt to the needs of the group while ensuring everyone enjoys the full adventure.

A quiet waiting space with seating and colouring activities will also be available before the session begins.

We want every family to have a magical Christmas experience. If there is anything we can do to support your visit, please contact Venue Manager Lauren Clark at lauren.clark@falkirk.gov.uk before your visit.

Can we take photographs?

Yes. Families are welcome to take their own photographs during the Santa meet-and-greet at the end of the experience.

How long does the experience last?

The Christmas Adventure lasts approximately 40 minutes, followed by time to meet Santa, take photographs and receive a gift.

Is the experience suitable for all ages?

Yes. The Christmas Adventure is designed as a family experience and is suitable for children of all ages. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Will I find out the story before I attend?

Absolutely! We'll reveal more details about this year's magical Christmas Adventure closer to the event. However, if you're a returning visitor, you can expect the same immersive format you know and love, with a brand-new festive story and characters for 2026. 🎄✨
