Throughout lockdown the Great Place Falkirk project has continued to tell the history of our area. Teams of volunteers have contributed to a growing website full of their discoveries and we wanted to use the museum collections to give these digital stories a real-life presence.
With our industrious, industrial past as a jumping off point, the exhibition explores brickworks, iron industry, soap works and some famous local names sure to spark memories of tasty drinks and snacks. Written in the volunteers’ own voices, these are our stories and we hope you will pop in to see them.
The work of Great Place Falkirk is made possible by the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund. For more stories visit ourstoriesfalkirk.com
