Glasgow University academic Dr Gavin Miller takes a historian’s look at the Bonnybridge UFO wave of the 1990s and 2000s.
He will outline his broader interest in Scottish UFOs, before focussing on the human side of things in Bonnybridge, including the hoped-for economic benefits, and the way newspapers and media represented the local area.
He will introduce some of his activities with the local libraries, and explain how the local community can get involved. You can find out more about Gavin at his project blog: www.ufos.ac.uk
