A 5 week guitar workshop for people aged 14-25.

Working in a group with an experienced music tutor, this relaxed beginner guitar course will let you get to grips with playing techniques, chords, strumming, using a guitar pick and instrument care. As your confidence builds, you’ll learn to play your first songs.

All you need is your enthusiasm! Instrument and course materials provided, but you're welcome to bring your own acoustic guitar.

There is no charge for this workshop, however donations are gratefully recieved. You can make a donation at the cash box at the library.

IMPORTANT: This is a 5-week course and by registering you are committing to attend weekly on a Monday for 5 weeks. Spaces are limited, so please only book if you are serious about attending.

FAQ

What happens if I miss a lesson?

Missing a lesson is fine, but you MUST get in touch with us at libraryevents@falkirk.gov.uk, otherwise we will assume you are no longer interested and we will give your space to the next person on the waiting list. If you think you will miss more than one lesson we ask that you do not sign up.

Is there parking at Falkirk Library?

Falkirk Library does not have a car park, but it is free to park across the road at Garrison place after 5.30pm.
