22.7km with 375 metres of ascent BIKE, 18km with 1220 metres of ascent WALK

We’ve always done these two Munros from Dalwhinnie, which is nice, but this time we thought we’d try from Rannoch in the south. This route offers a bit more ascent on the bikes but access to the fine views along Loch Ericht is on good tracks, which means it’ll be a nice ride. Once we’re on foot a continuation up the lochside on a path takes us to Ben Alder Cottage where we join the usual hill path Munro route to tick the summits. This will be a big day on the hill.
