The Miller Violin Duo (Alison and Danny Miller) and Derek Clark (piano) celebrate the music of classic Hollywood. Alison studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating with First Class Honours in 2013. Danny studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and then in Salzburg, Austria with Professor Igor Ozim of the Mozarteum Universitat. They work regularly with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
Scottish Opera's former Head of Music, Derek Clark, was born in Glasgow and studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama, Durham University and London Opera Centre. He joined Welsh National Opera in 1977 as repetiteur and staff conductor, making his professional conducting debut in 1981 before accepting his position at Scottish Opera in 1997
