Chatterbooks is more than just a book club for kids! 

We talk about the books and characters we love and hate and we make, draw, create and play games.

Chatterbooks groups happen monthly in these libraries:

Bo'ness: First Saturday of the month

Denny: Last Saturday of the month

Meadowbank: First Thursday of the month

Chatterbooks aims to:

• Widen and deepen children’s reading
• Build children’s confidence about themselves as readers
• Encourage children to form and express their opinions about their reading
• Develop peer to peer reading support
• Offer children the chance to talk with adults about their reading
• Increase the sense of belonging to a community
• Provide an activity where children are having a really good time talking about books
