Join local archaeologist, historian and author Geoff Bailey on an exploration of Grangemouth's past.
The story of Grangemouth is a fascinating one with many twists. The town was founded on trade which during the Napoleonic Wars was defended by a gun battery. And during two world wars the port was critical to the war effort.
Indeed, it came to have two ports - a seaport and an airport. It also had three names - Sealock, Charlotenburg, and Grange Burn Mouth. And numerous churches, schools and parks. These are all woven into the fabric of the modern town - come along and see how.
