No Fines at Our Libraries
Late book return fees have been abolished across all 8 of the Falkirk Council libraries to remove worries about fines and to encourage more people to use their public library.
Any past fines that might have been on people’s records have been removed, so this is the best possible time to bring back any library books that you’ve had at home for a while.
Falkirk Libraries is part of a growing movement of public libraries across Scotland abolishing overdue fines to ensure that they are as accessible as possible for every member of society, especially with the growing cost of living crisis.
