New £4.50 Cinema Tickets For 16-25 Year Olds at The Hippodrome Cinema, Bo’ness
Falkirk Community Trust is excited to announce that young people aged 16 – 25 years old can now attend screenings at The Hippodrome Cinema, Bo’ness for only £4.50 per ticket.
This new ticket price has been made available through the Young Audiences (YA) Generation Scheme which is funded by Film Hub Scotland with support from the BFI Film Audience Network, awarding funds from the National Lottery. The two main barriers identified by research* to young people attending the cinema more regularly are price and lack of relevant content.
Over a 12-month period, the Young Audiences (YA) Generation Scheme aims to test a consistent, UK wide approach that encourages Independent venues to adapt their offer to attract a younger audience. The Hippodrome is one of 11 cinemas nationwide taking part in this scheme to overcome these barriers and we are very much looking forward to welcoming our young audience back after such a long period of closure due to COVID-19.
All 16-25 year olds are able to take advantage of this new ticket and all you need to do is pre-book in advance either online at hippodromecinema.co.uk or by calling on 01324 506850, making sure to sign up to receive emails to get the latest news and bring along your ID.
Lesley O’Hare, Culture and Libraries Manager said “We are delighted to be taking part in this exciting new project and look forward to welcoming young people to our beautiful cinema and hope that like many of our existing customers that they will stay loyal to us for many years to come.”
There is an exciting programme ahead at The Hippodrome starting off with Ellie and Abbie (& Ellie’s Dead Aunt), the 2020 Australian LGBT romance comedy; The Father starring: Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman and Disney’s new Cruella. Full listings available online at hippodromecinema.co.uk
