22 December 2021
Customer Statement 22.12.21
Following the announcement from the First Minister on Tuesday 21 December advising of increased safety measures that will be implemented from 26 December onwards, we are making changes to our range of services until further notice from this date. In line with the Scottish Government’s advice on reducing social contact and maintaining the safety of our customers and staff, these service changes align us with the national effort to slow and eliminate the transmission of the now dominant Omicron variant.
We will re-introduce social distancing measures and one-way systems where appropriate in indoor venues. Enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures will remain in place, as will our adherence to Test and Protect. We will also continue to support the mandatory wearing of face coverings indoors (unless exempt, eating, or drinking), and have multiple hand sanitising stations are available at all sites.
Following government recommendations, we ask our staff and customers to take lateral flow tests before mixing outside of their households and in support of the Scottish Government advice, we are encouraging employees to ensure that they are double vaccinated and giving adequate time off to arrange booster jabs.
Please see below for specific detail for changes in venues:
