Falkirk Libraries have received funding to develop and improve services for library customers.

We are refurbishing Grangemouth Library by investing in flexible shelving and modern furniture to provide an adaptable community library.

The public areas are being redecorated to give the library a fresh modern feel, and the redesigned space will include a standalone meeting pod to support confidential meetings and interviews.

A new Make and Mend Hub will provide access to a range of tools and technology to repair, reuse and upcycle everyday items, supporting creative and sustainable activities. The Make and Mend Hub will help people reduce waste and cost by providing access to digital and healthcare technology.

The improvements will create a modern, welcoming space in Grangemouth and encourage greater use of the library.

Help us add the finishing touches to the design and explore some of the technology that will be available in the new Make and Mend Hub. There will be activities for everyone and competitions for children!
