Give your little one a birthday packed with fun, adventure and stress‑free hosting. At The Mariner Centre, our soft play area is the star of the show: the perfect space for kids to climb, slide and explore with their friends.
Whether you want exclusive hire for a private party or prefer a relaxed Saturday session with access to our dedicated party room, we make birthday planning easy. Our friendly team are on hand to help you create a celebration that’s fun, flexible and great value for families.

How to book? -
90 Minutes of action-packed play! With full access to the Great Mariner Reef soft play and exclusive use of our dedicated party room. The room comfortably hosts up to 18 children, with additional breakfast bar seating for up to 12 adults. Little ones get 90 minutes of fun on our ocean-themed soft play equipment as part of the party package.

Party food is covered - just bring cake! As part of your booking, you'll get a kids’ sandwich meal for every child, plus unlimited jugs of diluting juice to keep everyone refreshed. All you have to bring is cake. We kindly ask that only food bought on the premises is consumed. If you have food allergies to cater for and would like to bring your own food, speak to our team when booking.
A choice of cheese, jam or ham sandwich on white bread, served with crisps, chocolate and Simply Fruit. (GF roll option available on request.) -
Even more birthday fun... We know birthday parties are all about making memories — that’s why the birthday child gets a “Happy Birthday!” tannoy announcement, a magical visit from our mascot, Marnie, with plenty of smiles and photo opportunities, a personalised birthday card from Marnie to treasure, and free entry to soft play.

Party Pricing Our birthday party package is £180, which includes room hire, soft play admission and food for up to 10 children.
Additional children can be added for £5.00 per child. This can be done at reception on the day.

Exclusive hire parties You'll get use of the Great Mariner Reef play frame for two hours, with 27 tables in the soft play area and seating for up to 120 people, plus a special visit from Marnie and a birthday card. The birthday child also receives a free soft play session. Please note we don’t supply catering in the evening, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Our soft play is available for exclusive private hire on Friday evening, 6 – 8pm for £300. Bookings can be made via our App or in person at the Mariner Centre.

Mariner Centre
With a large pool, sports facilities and a cafe, the Mariner has something for all the family! Our lagoon-shaped leisure pool has a beach area and wave machine, baby pool and sauna suite. Other than swimming, the Mariner offers a wide range of sports facilities including a squash court and a dance studio. There’s also a soft-play area for the kids and cafeteria.

Right in the centre of Grangemouth, the Sports Complex has everything you need for sport and family fun. Book the hall for football, basketball or badminton, or enjoy the six lane 25m pool, sauna, steam room, flumes and Soft Play, all under one roof.
