What is the Shapemaster Hub?

The Shapemaster Hub offers power assisted exercise equipment  for customers who feel that a traditional gym isn’t for them.

If you have a health condition, then this style of training is ideal to support your needs, whilst working out safely.

There are 12 equipment stations offering an entire body workout, so book in to guarantee your space.  If you are attending more than once per week, then consider our membership option for only £23 per month - this includes access to swimming at the Mariner Centre as well.

Do I have to book or can I just turn up?

Since spaces are limited, we would recommend you book your session prior to turning up.  You can book via our App or alternatively by contacting the Mariner Centre directly to book your session.

Do I have to pay when booking?

If you are not a member, then you have to pay at time of booking, to guarantee your space and you need to book either in person or over the phone.  If you are a member, and have been inducted, then you will be able to book via our App.

What is the cost per session for the Shapemaster Hub?

The cost to pay casually is £6.50 per session. If you are an Unlimited member or an Active Forth member, Shapemaster Hub is all included in the membership offering.

What is the most cost-effective way to pay for the Shapemaster Hub?

If you attend at least once per week then consider our membership option for only £23 per month and includes access to swimming at the Mariner Centre as well. 

How long is each session?

The length of the session will be dependent on the programme designed for you, up to a maximum of one hour.

I’m an Unlimited member, can I also access the Shapemaster Hub?

Yes, you can access the Hub and it’s all included as part of your membership, so no additional cost to access this area.

I’m an Active Forth member, can I also access the Shapemaster Hub?

Yes, you can access the Hub and it’s all included as part of your membership, so no additional cost to access this area.

What does the Shapemaster induction entail?

A member of our experienced gym team will take you round all the equipment and show you how to effectively use each piece of equipment.  Our team will also make up a programme for you to follow at your future sessions.

Can I attend myself after the induction?

Yes, once you have had an induction, you can attend at convenient times for yourself.

What are the opening times?

The Shapemaster Hub is open Monday-Friday 09.00-13.00.

Will the Shapemaster Hub be staffed to support customers?

Yes, the Hub will always have a member of the gym team present to support customers.

I have a health condition that would benefit from accessing the Hub – can a health professional refer me?

Yes, we will accept referrals from Health Professionals into the Hub and Damian our Active Forth Consultant will induct and programme accordingly.
