What is VACMA?
Visual artists and craft makers from across Scotland are welcome to apply for grants of up to £1,000 to support creative and professional growth. Made possible by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland, VACMA supports activities like mentoring, skill development, experimenting with new or sustainable materials, equipment purchases, and residencies—all contributing to creative development.
The program includes:

A £1,000 bursary for experienced artists/makers with over three years of publicly-presented work, and
-
A £500 early-career bursary for individuals practicing under three years.
