Accessible walks for everyone, from aspiring newbies to adventurous winter walkers.

The days will involve a high top - either a Munro or one of our finer Corbetts - so you will need to have previous hill walking experience. If we need to refresh winter skills on the move we will, but if you require more extensive tuition please book on one of our winter skills courses.

All winter High Tops are weather dependent. For bike access walks we use landrover tracks to get to the bottom of the hill. The riding is easy, but you will be wearing boots. If conditions on the day are deemed too snowy on the track we will do an amended walk instead.

Previous winter hill walking experience or completion of a recent winter skills course is essential.

14.5km with 300 metres of ascent BIKE, 10km with 1100 metres of ascent WALK

Easy biking (or pushing up the steep bit), followed by a fine ridge and remote mountain theme on the shortish walk over two Munros, makes this outing to the remote Mamlorn hills achievable over a winter day from Glen Lochay.
