Accessible walks for everyone, from aspiring newbies to adventurous winter walkers.

The days will involve a high top - either a Munro or one of our finer Corbetts - so you will need to have previous hill walking experience. If we need to refresh winter skills on the move we will, but if you require more extensive tuition please book on one of our winter skills courses.

All winter High Tops are weather dependent. For bike access walks we use landrover tracks to get to the bottom of the hill. The riding is easy, but you will be wearing boots. If conditions on the day are deemed too snowy on the track we will do an amended walk instead.

Previous winter hill walking experience or completion of a recent winter skills course is essential.

Beinn a’Chreachain, Meall Buidhe, Beinn Achaladair

19km with 1300 metres of ascent

This is a big day to make use of the longer daylight towards the end of the winter. We’ll plan to head out to Beinn a’Chreachain first to tick this relatively remote Munro. This will give us options to drop off the ridge early if time is short. However, if time allows the route back over Beinn Achaladair gives a superb high level route.
