Our High Tops outings take hill walking to the next level.

They are longer and a bit more demanding, with a fair bit of height gained on a mixture of paths and open hill. Sometimes we take bikes – which we always advertise – so we can go further into remote areas. We will usually do a couple of summits, either Munros or Corbetts or a combination of both. Good craic in fine company making memorable days on the hill.

Carn Liath & Culardoch – BIKE ACCESS

11.8km with 250 metres of ascent BIKE, 9.5km with 610 metres of ascent WALK

Two Corbetts tagged onto the bigger Cairngorm range making them seem like afterthoughts, but that would be wrong – they’re great hills which make a grand lollipop circuit from Invercauld. We’ll take bikes up the track and then do a clockwise round on foot. This is one of our easier Bike ‘n’ Hikes.

High Tops start at 7am and are delivered in small groups, with a maximum of eight participants.
