Our High Tops outings take hill walking to the next level.

They are longer and a bit more demanding, with a fair bit of height gained on a mixture of paths and open hill. Sometimes we take bikes – which we always advertise – so we can go further into remote areas. We will usually do a couple of summits, either Munros or Corbetts or a combination of both. Good craic in fine company making memorable days on the hill.

Bynack More & Cairn Gorm - BIKE ACCESS

11.6km with 150 metres of ascent BIKE, 19.5km with 1300 metres of ascent WALK.

A grand loop of Strath Nethy taking in two Munros by their long northern flanks is proposed for this unusual outing. Bikes will be used on the track to the site of Bynack Stables from Glenmore, then one of the iconic mountain passes gets us on the way to Bynack More. Dropping to the The Saddle then taking the ascending path up to Cairn Gorm, before handrailing the ridge north down the Nethy back to the bikes. This walk is a big undertaking, but it’ll be a good one.

High Tops start at 7am and are delivered in small groups, with a maximum of eight participants.
