You can visit the library whenever you like and stay the day – we’re one of the few places you can visit where you don’t need to spend a penny.

Free activity and snack sessions

Throughout the summer you’ll find free, drop-in sessions where you’ll be able to help yourself to a healthy snack. These include drop-in LEGO events and activity and puzzle days.

Summer art competition

The stars of our Summer Reading Challenge have some cool mascots cheering them on while they take part in their favourite activities.

Spend the day with us!

All our libraries have lovely children’s areas. You can get comfortable and spend the day with us – draw, read, whatever you like. You’ll find free hot drinks in all libraries and charging points for mobile devices. Library members can use our Wi-Fi or PCs for free too.
