On a High Tops day you will tick either a Munro or one of our finer Corbetts, so you will need to have previous walking experience

Our days out on the mountains are justly famous for getting to the summits by interesting means whatever the weather. On the harder to reach hills we can take bikes if appropriate. We’re happy to take novices out but if you’re unsure how you’ll do on the day please call our office before booking and chat to an instructor.

Streap Circuit

17.8km with 1400 metres of ascent

Streap is one of the shapelier, more demanding Corbetts. Its rugged nature and steep flanks make it a summit tick worthy of earning. Our route will take in the whole of the ridge running from Glenfinnan north to our summit. A good forestry track leads up to the open hill where the ridge is gained. Beinn an Tuim is reached first then it’s onwards over Stob Coire nan Ceart to Streap itself. Streap Comhlaidh is visited before a good path descends to Gleann Dubh Lighe and, eventually, the road.
