16km with 960 metres of ascent

We’ve not used our closest hill group for a high tops before so we thought we could put a walk on and make it interesting by starting and finishing in different towns. This outing will take in the highest hill in the range, Ben Cleuch as well as Ben Ever, Andrew Gannel, Skythorn, Tarmange and Whitewisp Hills. The starting point is in Tillicoultry by the Mill Glen. After gaining height the route heads east, ticking off the summits as we go. The descent comes down by the Burn of Care to Castle Campbell and then into lovely Dollar Glen. Walkers will get a chance to rest in one of Dollar’s nice cafes whilst the leader cycles back to the van.
