18.6km with 1100 metres of ascent
Biking into the Ben Alder Forest area is a Central Scotland hill bagger's classic. From Dalwhinnie to Culra is a fantastic cycle mostly on good tracks. Instead of doing Ben Alder, we are heading up the other side to tick the four Munros on the opposite side. Carn Dearg is a steep pull up from the bothy, then it's on to Geal-charn with its big grassy summit area, over Aonach Beag - the highest in the range - then out and back to Beinn Eibhinn before dropping down and taking the Bealach Dubh back to the bikes. Expect a long day and a good one.
