This talk will demystify movie robots from real robots, and you will get the opportunity to glimpse into the fundamentals of Robotics and understand what makes a robot tick! You will also learn to what extent we can trust a robot and the usefulness and limitations of present-day Robots.

Shivoh Chirayil Nandakumar is a PhD research scholar in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at National Robotarium, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Shivoh’s research focuses on the study of Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience to enhance trust in Autonomous Robots.
