Join the rangers for a stunning countryside walk and a visit to one of the best bluebell woods in Falkirk.

Our walk begins at Muiravonside Country Park and before joining the Union Canal. The route cuts through woodland and farmland and passes by the amazing ruins of Haining Castle. We will also be visiting Haining wood which has one of the best bluebell displays in central Scotland.

This is an easy flat route of around 4.5 miles. We will stop for a wee refreshment on route near the canal. Wear suitable footwear and bring a flask. Places on the walk are very limited.

Toilets are available at Muiravonside Country Park.
