Ariel won the 3rd prize in the Leeds Piano competition last year Playing Brahms second piano concerto. The Guardian commented on “...the impressively sustained performance of Brahms’s Second Piano Concerto by the Israeli Ariel Lanyi.” He completed his studies at the Royal Academy of music in London, and has performed in the Wigmore Hall and the Marlboro Music Festival in Vermont. He has just released a recording of Schubert pieces with Linn records.
