There's gentle songs for bouncing babies and loads of chances to move for toddlers who've found their feet! There are also stories and probably a few rhymes you'll remember from your own childhood.

Bookbug is weekly in all libraries:

Bo'ness: Thursday 2pm, Friday at 10.30am 

Bonnybridge: Friday at 10.30am

Denny: Friday at 11am, Saturday at 11am

Falkirk: Tuesday at 10.30am

Grangemouth: Tuesday at 10.30am

Larbert: Thursday at 10.30am, Saturday at 10.15am

Meadowbank: Monday at 10.30am, Friday 10.30am

Slamannan: Tuesday at 1.15pm

Gaelic Bookbug at Falkirk Library: last Monday of the month at 1.30pm

How to book
Numbers for sessions are strictly limited so booking is highly recommended to ensure a place. Tickets are available 6 days before each session on Eventbrite, from 10am. 

Bookbug session spaces usually go quickly, but do check back in the couple of days before the event as we often have returns.

• The parent attending the session will book a place for themselves.
• There's no need to book a space for your child(ren).
• Your booking allows you to bring up to two children with you. If you wish to bring more children, please consider making an additional adult booking, or get in touch with the library.

If you don’t have access to the internet to book via Eventbrite, you can call or visit the library where the session is taking place. Please note that spaces will go quickly and that staff are using the same system that those booking online will be using, so securing a place cannot be guaranteed.

There is a weekly Bookbug session in every library in Falkirk area. Sessions last around 30 to 45 minutes. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and they're the perfect chance for you to spend quality time with your wee one and meet other mums, dads, grandparents and carers.
