Bo’ness has a well-kept secret in the form of its beautiful Town hall. Built in 1904 this historic building is set within beautiful grounds and overlooks Bo’ness and the River Forth. The grounds feature the original bandstand which was constructed in 1902 and provides an elegant backdrop for photographs.
This beautiful 'B' listed building is popular for weddings, parties, concerts, dance, exercise and fitness classes, exhibitions and a variety of fund-raising events.
The venue also holds a wedding licence which allows both ceremonies and receptions to be held in the one location with the surrounding gardens and picturesque bandstand.
For theatre style bookings, the main hall, stage and upper balcony area is complete with dressing rooms to the rear of the stage. The Auditorium and Library areas are also available for hire for smaller meetings and functions.

For theatre style bookings, the main hall, stage and upper balcony area is complete with dressing rooms to the rear of the stage. There is a seating capacity of 390 (including balcony) theatre style and 170 in a cabaret style with dance floor.
Library & Auditorium
Upstairs there is the Library and bar area as well as the Auditorium.
In our beautiful Auditorium/ Ceremony Room with the ornate ceiling and spectacular views over the Firth of Forth holds up to 100 people and is licenced for ceremonies
Both spaces have a capacity of 100 people and are suitable for meetings and classes with the Auditorium also ideal for wedding ceremonies.
We will work with local suppliers to help you create the perfect bespoke special day for you and your family.

The nearest train stations are Falkirk High and Falkirk Grahamston which has regular trains on the Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh lines.

The relocated fitness class programme will be available at Bo’ness Town Hall from Mon 6 May. We have moved 26 weekly classes Monday-Friday. Classes like Bodypump, Bodycombat, Bodybalance, Les Mills Core alongside the current Active Forth class programme.
We are moving two Aquafit classes to Grangemouth Sports Complex on a Monday and Friday to support these popular classes. Please see our link to Fitness Classes below.
There will be no cash handling or point of sale system at the Town Hall. Customers can access the class programme as members or if they wish to pay casually, they will need to prebook their class at Grangemouth Sports Complex and pay at the time of booking.

Memberships:
- Bo’ness Class Only at £25 per month – same principles as other memberships
- Bo’ness Active Forth / Go Card Class Only £18 per month
Members who are already on full memberships options i.e. £37 per month or £34 per month for class only, will be able to access Bo’ness, in line with the other clubs.
